Provided is a ball joint dust cover (1) that resolves the problem that when at low temperatures, a shaft-side attachment section (12) separates from the shaft (203b) of the ball stud (203) and sealing properties decrease. To achieve the objective, a reinforcing ring (14) is embedded in the shaft-side attachment section (12) tightly fitted/affixed to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft (203b) of the ball stud (203) of the ball joint (200), and inner periphery collars (141, 142) are formed at the inner periphery of the reinforcing ring (14) at an inner diameter having a slightly larger diameter than that of the inner peripheral surface of the shaft-side attachment section (12). Also, at the inner peripheral surface of the shaft-side attachment section (12) are formed in alteration: sealing protruding bands (121, 123) of which the thickness in the radial direction is relatively small by means of being positioned at the inner periphery of the inner periphery collars (141, 142) of the reinforcing ring (14); and a sealing protruding band (122) of which the thickness in the radial direction is relatively large by means of being positioned offset from the inner periphery of the inner periphery collars (141, 142). |
