The invention provides a toner for developing electrostatic images, which has excellent bright red color reproducibility and excellent light resistance of the images. The toner for developing the electrostatic images comprises toner particles which comprise an adhesive resin, luteins and carotenes. The invention further provides a developer which comprises the toner for developing the electrostatic images, and a toner carriage which accommodates the toner for developing the electrostatic images.
