The wiper blade device has a wiper blade adapter unit (10a) with a wiper blade adapter element (12a) that is connected to spring rail unit (16a) by a press connection. Another wiper blade adapter element (14a) is formed separately and is adapted to the former wiper blade adapter element of the wiper blade adapter unit. The latter wiper blade adapter element is formed to limit the spring rail unit in a laterally mounted state. The wiper blade adapter unit has an insert element that is provided to positively connect the spring rail unit to the former wiper blade adapter element. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a wiper blade.
