The invention aims mainly to avoid the blocking of objects between the fixed and movable rails of vehicle seat tracks. To this end, the invention provides for a deflector that at least partially conceals the head of the rail fastening screw to be added. An adjustment track (1) comprises a base rail (10; 12A, 12B; 14A, 14B) having a bottom (10F) fastened by at least one screw (4) near one end of the base rail (10), this fastening screw (4) having a head (40) protruding from said bottom (10F). According to the invention, a deflector (2, 2') surrounding the head (40) of the fastening screw rests on the bottom (10F) of the base rail while fitting at least in part tightly against this screw head (40). The deflector (2) extends over the bottom (10F) of the base rail in a direction away from the end of this base rail (10), from said screw head (40) and as far as a transverse edge over an upstream portion that tends towards a sufficiently small value in order to form a surface that is substantially continuous with the bottom of the rail and not to form a stop. |
