The present invention provides a composition, for an orthodontic member, comprising: a water-soluble or biodegradable material; and a solvent comprising water. Therefore, an orthodontic procedure can be conveniently performed by means of directly attaching to the teeth an orthodontic composite which comprises a wire in a hollow of a water-soluble or biodegradable orthodontic member prepared by using the composition for an orthodontic member of the present invention.
