The invention relates to a braking system for closing a cover of a shovel bucket, comprising at least one hydraulic braking sub-system, mounted on a shovel bucket where the cover pivots, wherein each sub-system comprises a braking connecting bar in the upper part, a chassis in the lower part which is supported and joined to the wall of the bucket, an assembly formed by an external tank having oil inside and a double-acting hydraulic cylinder joined at one end to the chassis, with the other end being joined to an arm comprising a cam system which regulates the movement of the respective sub-system in order to control the closing of the cover, wherein the chassis also comprises at least one flow regulator valve and at least one anti-return valve. |
