PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of a cylinder block capable of achieving high cooling effect while keeping comparatively low flow-channel resistance of a water jacket.SOLUTION: In a cooling structure of a cylinder block 1 which has a water jacket 5 formed into the annular shape to surround a plurality of cylinder bores inside of the cylinder block 1 in which the plurality of cylinder bores (2a-2d) are formed in a row, a cooling water inlet 9 and a cooling water outlet 10 respectively formed at one end side of the cylinder block 1, and a first partitioning member 12 inserted to the water jacket 5 between the cooling water inlet 9 and the cooling water outlet 10, and in which cooling water flowing in from the cooling water inlet 9 is circulated around the cylinder bore (2d) at the most other end side, and flows out from the cooling water outlet 10, a second partitioning member 15 forming communication passages (16, 17) to reduce a flow channel cross-section of the water jacket 5, is inserted to the water jacket 5 at the other end side in the cylinder row direction. |
