PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a lens when an external force is applied in a photographable state in a lens barrel having a configuration allowing a lens to extend and advance to a side of a barrier opening section.SOLUTION: A barrier device 150 comprises: barrier blades 154 and 155 that open/close an opening section allowing a first lens 152 to be exposed to an outside; and a barrier driving ring 152 that drives the barrier blades. A relative position relation between the barrier blade in an optical axis and a first lens 101 becomes in a state where the barrier blade therein and the first lens 101 come closer to each other in a photographable status than in a collapsed status. In the photographable status, the first lens 101 enters into a space after the barrier blade is opened by the barrier driving ring 152, a gap between the first lens 152 in the optical axis and the barrier driving ring 152 is changed, and both of the first lens 152 therein and the barrier driving ring come closest to each other in relatively moving components. When an external force is applied in the photographable status, a reception surface section 152b of the barrier driving ring 152 is configured to receive a portion out of an effective range of the first lens 101. |
