The present invention relates to a packaging machine for filling and sealing flexible containers (1) comprising opposite walls (2, 3) made of a heat-scalable film, and provided with a closure assembly (10) including a base (11) provided with convex attachment surfaces (12, 13) for attachment with upper edges of the opposite walls (2, 3) of the flexible container, the sealing being obtained by means of welding using a sonotrode (40, 50), and said sonotrode (40) applying pressure in a direction of pressure (P1) different from the direction of vibration (D1) in which said sonotrode expands and shrinks, said direction preferably being perpendicular or greater than 45°. |
