PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an aluminum material for brazing by which etching without needing cleaning of an aluminum material by water after etching treatment (which can be eliminated) can be conducted.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an aluminum material for brazing includes an etching treatment step wherein an aluminum material is processed by an aqueous monocarboxylic acid solution. For the aqueous monocarboxylic acid, the aqueous monocarboxylic acid set to 70°C or more and at a lower temperature than the boiling point of the aqueous monocarboxylic acid solution is used. |
