PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp device and crimp method for a double glazing window for making it possible to reliably crimp seal material positioned at a corner part of a spacer-included glass plate on a glass window.SOLUTION: A spacer-included glass plate 12 is made to adhere to a glass window 16 through a spacer 22 by using butyl rubber 24. Next, a pad 132 of a head metal fixture 134 of a crimp jig 104 of a crimp device 100 is made to be contact with a surface at a corner part of the spacer-included glass plate 12; a sucking disk 128 is made to stick to the spacer-included glass plate 12. Next, a decompression device 102 decompresses an air space 15 to make force generated in elastic deformation of the spacer-included glass plate 12 propagate from a sticking member 118 to a pressing member 116 through a coupling member 120, which makes the head metal fixture 134 of the pressing member 116 press the surface at the corner part of the spacer-included glass plate 12 toward the glass window 16. This operation makes the butyl rubber 24 crimped on the glass window 16. |
