PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film roll without requiring a large cost, which extremely reduces distortion of the optical film roll during storage or transportation of the film roll and which can inhibit degradation in optical properties such as polarizing property of an optical film such as a polarizing film obtained from the film roll.SOLUTION: The optical film roll comprises an optical film wound on a tubular core material. The core material comprises an outer pipe 1 and an inner pipe 2 adjoining to each other, in which the outer pipe 1 is an aluminum pipe having a hardness of 145 HV or less, and the inner pipe 2 is a steel pipe having a hardness of 150 HV or more. Preferably, the outer pipe 1 has a hardness of 120 HV or less and the inner pipe 2 has a hardness of 170 HV or more. |
