PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front part car body structure of an open car which can prevent or suppress backward or inward displacement of the upper part of a front piller in a car due to collision load and prevent or suppress torsion deformation of the front piller due to excessive opening of a door panel.SOLUTION: In a front part car body structure, in the lower part of a front piller, there is formed an enlarged part 3' which is enlarged toward the car front, car rear and car outside from the upper part connected to the lower part and is fixed to the front end part of a rocker member, and a hinge retainer 12 has a hinge attachment surface 12a having a bead 12e which has a shape corresponding to the enlarged part 3' and extends in the car forward/backward direction and a leg part 12d which is formed so as to be bent from the upper end of the hinge attachment surface 12a toward a piller inner 10. The hinge attachment surface 12a is fixed to a piller outer 9 so as to be superimposed on the enlarged part 3', and the leg part 12d is fixed to the piller inner 10. The piller outer 9 is made to intervene on the hinge attachment surface 12a, and a door hinge is fixed. |
