PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable connecting a plurality of power-supply devices in series without separately preparing a diode for bypass and to enable cooling the diode for bypass that generates heat in the stop state of a power-supply device.SOLUTION: A power-supply device includes: a smoothing circuit 8 smoothing a voltage induced at a secondary winding 6b of a transformer 6 and rectified by a rectifier circuit 7, and outputting the smoothed voltage from between a positive output section 8a and a negative output section 8b as a DC voltage Vdc; a positive output terminal 12 and a negative output terminal 13 outputting the DC voltage Vdc to the outside; a subsidiary power-supply circuit 16 generating a subsidiary voltage Vsub; a rectifying element 11 for bypass connected between the positive output section 8a and the negative output section 8b; a temperature detection circuit 17 operating at the subsidiary voltage Vsub and detecting a temperature Tr relevant to the rectifying element 11 for bypass; a cooling fan 18 operating at subsidiary voltage Vsub and cooling the inside of the power-supply device 1; and a control circuit 9 operating at the subsidiary voltage Vsub and operating the cooling fan 18 when the temperature Tr exceeds a threshold temperature. |
