performing operations as follows on a processor: associating content stored on a data processing system with an event associated with a user; determining when the event is to occur; pushing the content from the data processing system to a mobile device associated with the user not later than the occurrence of the event for storage on the mobile device; wherein the content has a general security policy associated therewith prohibiting communication of the content to the mobile device for storage on the mobile device; the method further comprising: creating an exception to the general security policy so as to allow communication of the content to the mobile device for storage on the mobile device for a defined time period that overlaps with the occurrence of the event; and removing the content from the mobile device when the mobile device communicatively connects to the data processing system after the occurrence of the event.
