an acquisition unit configured to acquire identification information from a first different communication apparatus; a determination unit configured to determine whether the identification information acquired by the acquisition unit is first identification information; a reception unit configured to receive, from the first different communication apparatus, a predetermined request to connect a second different communication apparatus to a wireless network generated by the communication apparatus; and a providing unit configured to, in a case where the identification information is the first identification information, provide the second different communication apparatus with a communication parameter for connecting to the wireless network in response to receipt of the predetermined request, wherein in a case where the identification information is not the first identification information, the second different communication apparatus is not provided with the communication parameter even upon receipt of the predetermined request.
