The invention relates to an interrupter device (10) for interrupting a direct current between a direct-current source (2) and an electric device (6), in particular between a photovoltaic generator and an inverter. The interrupter device (10) comprises a mechanical switch (16) which has a first fixed contact (18), a second fixed contact (20), and a contact bridge (22) that can be moved between a first position (32) and a second position (34). In the first position (32), the first fixed contact (18) and the second fixed contact (20) are electrically contacted by means of the contact bridge (22), and in the second position (34), the contact bridge (22) is arranged at a distance from the first fixed contact (18) and the second fixed contact (20).
