The present invention relates to a rotary leadthrough (10) for transferring fluids from a static machine part (1) to a rotating machine part (2) and having a slip ring seal (4) in the form of two planar, essentially circular slip ring sealing surfaces (5) that are arranged so as to slide on one another, in which one slip ring (6) is arranged on the end face of an axially movable hollow piston (8) that is arranged in the static machine part (2), and the other slip ring (7) is arranged on the rotating machine part (3) such that, during the relative rotation of the rotating and the static machine parts, the slip ring sealing surfaces (5) slide on one another and are in sealing contact with one another. In order to create a rotary leadthrough of the type mentioned in the introduction, which in spite of dry-running safety still has only small leakage losses with at the same time improved sealing action even when conveying a non-lubricating medium and even at high rotational speeds of the rotating machine part, it is proposed according to the invention that the slip ring seal (4) have a spring element (11) exerting a closing force on the hollow piston (8), such that the slip rings (6, 7) be in sealing contact even when the hollow piston is not pressurized by a conveyed medium. |
