In order to extend the life of a battery for a device, thereby reducing the time and effort required to replace the battery for the device compared with the prior art, this information processor is provided with: a reception means for receiving, from a device, device information including acquired information acquired by the device and remaining life information indicating the remaining battery life of the device; and a period setting means for setting, on the basis of the remaining life information included in the device information, when the reception means has received the device information, a temporary storage period for storing the acquired information in a temporary storage means. Alternatively, this information processor is provided with: a reception means for receiving, from a device that converts acquired information into a transmission signal and transmits the transmission signal, the transmission signal; a remaining battery life calculation means for calculating, on the basis of the transmission signal, the remaining life of a battery which drives the device; and a period setting means for setting, on the basis of remaining life information indicating the remaining life of the battery, a temporary storage period for storing the acquired information in a temporary storage means. |
