PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device in which a breather chamber becomes easy to be free in layout.SOLUTION: A transfer device 1 comprises: an input shaft 11 for transmitting power; a ring gear 15 and an output shaft 31, a bearing 21 and a bearing 22, a case 50 for accommodating the input shaft 11 or the like; and a breather chamber constituting member 100 for constituting the breather chamber 52. Oil is sealed into the case 50. On an upper wall 63 of the case 50, there is formed a breather passage 64 which makes the inside and outside of the case 50 communicate with each other, and slantingly extends upward as going to the outside. The breather chamber constituting member 100 comprises: an inserted part 110 inserted into the breather chamber 64; and a plate part 120 which is integrated with the inserted part 110, and constitutes the breather chamber 52 between an internal wall face 63a at the circumference of an opening at the inside of the case 50 of the breather passage 64 and itself. The transfer device also comprises: a second case 70 which abuts on the front side of the inserted part 110 of the plate part 120, and regulates the plate part 120 in a fore-and-aft direction. |
