<p>PURPOSE:To empty the furnace at a low cost in a short time by utilizing opening part of tuyere metal and using a general-purpose tool without cutting and an opening hole on the furnace wall near the tuyere to discharge coke from the furnace to outside. CONSTITUTION:At the time of emptying the furnace after blowing down while descending charging level in the blast furnace, grab bucket 33 as liftable is hung at center of bucket-hanging beam 31. The beam 31 is laid across the iron shell to the diameter direction and both ends thereof are fixed and supported. By fitting a guide wire rope 46 on the way of a wire rope 39 for hanging the above bucket 33 and the positioning control for the bucket 33 can be freely executed. Then, the coke 34 in the blast furnace is grabbed and fed into a coke discharging chute 52 in the furnace at the tuyere metal fitting and discharged out of the furnace.</p> |
