The invention relates to the use of extracts from Calendula for the treatment and prevention, or therapy and prophylaxis, of disorders and impairments of cognitive and mental functions and for the improvement of mental and cognitive functions, in particular for the treatment and prevention of demential syndromes and early forms and preliminary stages thereof.
