PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an apparatus having no information necessary for cipher communication to acquire a device address to be a communication destination of the apparatus from an apparatus performing cipher communication.SOLUTION: A proxy device 40 performs in proxy the acquisition of an address to a remote management device 50 that manages the address of a mediation device 20 connecting to a network apparatus 10. The proxy device 40 includes: on receipt of the address from the network apparatus 10, device address proxy acquisition request means 422 for acquiring the address from the remote management device 50 through cipher communication; and address acquisition request response means 426 for making a response including the address acquired by the device address proxy acquisition request means 422. |
