PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplexer capable of preventing occurrence of useless frequency band where an optical signal cannot be arranged, in a boundary where optical signals are adjacent on the frequency axis, and to provide an optical path network and a multiplexing method.SOLUTION: In a multiplexer in an optical path network capable of allocating more than one slot widths, a start-of-end of a first frequency grid and a start-of-end of a second frequency grid are determined to be common between the first frequency grid for an optical signal of a first slot width, and the second frequency grid for an optical signal of a second slot width. The multiplexer includes a transmission section for frequency multiplexing an optical signal, by arranging an optical signal of the first slot width in a frequency slot permitted to the first frequency grid, and arranging an optical signal of the second slot width in a frequency slot permitted to the second frequency grid. |
