PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a register device that can achieve sales promotion.SOLUTION: A register device settles purchase price on the basis of the price of a commodity selected by a customer. The register device includes a touch panel display part 4, control means 5, storage means 6, printer means 7, and speaker means 8. The control means 5 calculates, from a purchase history of the customer, the intensity of correlation of a plurality of commodity classifications to another one commodity classification for each of the commodity classifications, and determines a recommended commodity classification on the basis of the calculated intensity of correlation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
