A sheet-affixing method for affixing a sheet pertaining to an absorbent article, the method being characterized by: producing a single sheet by cutting a continuous sheet having display elements repeatedly provided thereon between the display elements using a cutter part; moving the produced single sheet to a convergence location with another sheet; affixing the single sheet to the other sheet at the convergence location in a manner such that the cut rear end of the single sheet is positioned at a prescribed position on the other sheet; transporting the continuous sheet in the transport direction toward the cutter part; obtaining shift information from a reference position for the display elements provided on the continuous sheet; changing the speed at which the continuous sheet is transported on the basis of the shift information; obtaining fluctuation information for the length of the single sheet; and controlling a cutter roller and changing the prescribed position on the basis of the fluctuation information.
