The present invention relates to the field of telecommunications and provides a method and device for measuring a traffic balance degree to address the problem in the prior art in which it is not possible to quantify and measure the traffic balance distribution. The method comprises: according to a predetermined asset range and time range to be analyzed, acquiring traffic data of assets included in the asset range in the time range; according to the traffic data, determining traffic balance degrees of the assets included in the asset range in the time range; and transmitting the traffic balance degrees to an upper-level system. The solution of the present invention realizes the quantification and measurement of traffic balance distribution.
