PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satisfactory cushioning function by using a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A rectangular corrugated cardboard sheet which has first to fourth ruled lines 21, 22, 23, and 24 in a direction perpendicular to a corrugation (a) parallel to a longitudinal direction is folded so as to form a left end face 11, a left middle face 12 that is continuous to the left end face 11 when mountain-folded, a bottom face 13 that is continuous to the left middle face 12 when valley-folded, a right middle face 14 that is continuous to the bottom face 13 when valley-folded, and a right end face 15 that is continuous to the right middle face 14 when mountain-folded, thereby obtaining a corrugated cardboard cushioning material 1A. The two corrugated cardboard cushioning materials 1A are accommodated in a box B so that a left end side 11a of the left end face 11 and a right end side 15a of the right end face 15 of each corrugated cardboard cushioning material 1A are positioned at corners of the box B and so that the corrugated cardboard cushioning materials 1A cross each other. Thus, the bottom face 13 has spring properties in a vertical direction by means of a space between the bottom face 13 and an opposed face B1 of the box B, the left end face 11 and the left middle face 12 have spring properties in a side-to-side direction, and the right end face 15 and the right middle face 14 are have spring properties in a back-and-forth direction. |
