PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency and safety of a humidifying mechanism used for air humidification.SOLUTION: There is provided a humidifying mechanism having such a configuration that a hollow kettle 7 having a heating means 9 arranged at an upper position thereof is provided in a container body 1, a headrace 8 is provided between a bottom surface of the kettle 7 and a lower portion of a floating body 4 formed of a heat insulator, the floating body 4 is floated on water freely movably and the buoyancy of the floating body 4 is adjusted so that the heating means 9 is dipped in only water supplied from below the floating body 4 through the headrace 8. By such a configuration, the heating object of the heating means 9 is limited to only the water supplied to the hollow kettle 7 through the headrace 8, and the energy of the heat of the heating means 9 is hardly dispersed to a periphery of the floating body 4 since the floating body is composed of the a heat insulator. As a result, the humidifying mechanism performs efficient humidification and also has higher safety since water heated to be boiled has only a small amount of humidifying water 5 left in the hollow kettle 7 even if the water leaks out as the device falls down. |
