PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension flexure substrate able to obtain reliability in connection with an external terminal while effectively preventing breaking by obtaining the wiring strength of a connection terminal part.SOLUTION: The present invention solves the problems by providing a suspension flexure substrate comprising: a metal support substrate; an insulation layer on the metal support substrate; a wiring layer on the insulation layer; and a protective layer on the insulation layer and wiring layer. In the suspension flexure substrate, in the vicinity of a connection terminal part formed by opening the metal support substrate, insulation layer, and protective layer, the insulation layer or/and the protective layer has a retreat area that is not present in an area including a portion overlapping the wiring layer in a planar view. |
