PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-fit terminal capable of reliably removing a pre-flux layer covering the inner peripheral surface of a through hole by the rubbing at the time of press fitting a hole fitting part, and capable of ensuring stable continuity connection between the hole fitting part and the inner peripheral surface of a through hole, without performing post-flux treatment.SOLUTION: In a press-fit terminal 4 having a hole fitting part 41, press-fitted to the through hole 210 of a circuit board 200 and establishing continuity connection with the through hole 210 by the contact pressure, the hole fitting part 41 includes protrusions 44 protruding from the side faces 412b, 413b that are not in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 210 and in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 210, separately from the corners 412a, 413a that are in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the through hole 210.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
