PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigeration device suitable for a power-saving cooling operation.SOLUTION: An air conditioning system 1 includes: a compressor 11 and an outdoor heat exchanger 13 installed outdoors; an indoor heat exchanger 31 installed indoors and configuring a refrigerant circuit RC with the compressor 11 and the outdoor heat exchanger 13; and a controller 50. The controller 50 switches an ordinary cooling operation for driving the compressor 11 to forcibly circulate a refrigerant and a power-saving cooling operation for stopping the compressor 11 to circulate the refrigerant by utilizing an installation height difference H1 between the outdoor heat exchanger 13 and the indoor heat exchanger 31, according to a situation. The controller 50 performs a refrigerant pressure adjustment operation to lower a refrigerant pressure to a first threshold value ΔPt1 or less while forcibly circulating the refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit RC by driving the compressor 11, and starts the power-saving cooling operation after the completion of the refrigerant pressure adjustment operation, in a case of switching from the ordinary cooling operation to the power-saving cooling operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
