PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil mist depressant excellent in performance to depress generation of oil mist, more specifically, an oil mist depressant which does not degrade performance to depress generation of oil mist even when receiving shear for a long time in a process of cutting work or grinding work.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an oil mist depressant comprising silicon particles. Further, the present invention provides an oil mist depressant comprising silicon particles having a volume average particle size in a range of 0.1-50 μm. Further, the present invention provides an oil solution containing the oil mist depressant, particularly an oil solution for cutting work or grinding work.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
