PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionic group-containing aromatic polyether-based copolymer which is used for a polyelectrolyte material excellent in proton conductivity, water resistance, mechanical strength, physical durability, processability and chemical stability, and to provide a polyelectrolyte material, a polyelectrolyte molded product, a polyelectrolyte complex membrane and a solid polymer fuel cell each using the same.SOLUTION: The ionic group-containing aromatic polyether-based copolymer includes one or more kinds of unsubstituted aromatic ether groups (B) and an ionic group-substituted benzophenone ether group (D). In the ionic group-containing aromatic polyether-based copolymer, when the sum of the molar fractions of groups represented by the one or more kinds of the unsubstituted aromatic ether groups (B) is defined as b mol%, the molar fraction of the ionic group-substituted benzophenone ether group (D) is defined as d mol%, and the molar fraction of an unsubstituted benzophenone ether group (A) is defined as (a) mol%, (a), b and d satisfy the relations: 10≤b≤52, 35≤d≤52, and a+b+d=100. |
