PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label pasting device and a label pasting method capable of pasting a label more surely to a merchandise by increasing force applied to the label fed from a label conveying unit to press on the merchandise conveyed by a merchandise conveyor with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: When the label L conveyed by the label conveying unit 12 is fed to the merchandise P conveyed by the merchandise conveyor 2 in a direction, which is inclined upward or downward with respect to a conveying direction of the merchandise P, to be pasted on the merchandise P, a conveying speed of the label L conveyed by the label conveying unit 12 is made greater than the conveying speed of the merchandise P conveyed by the merchandise conveyor 2. |
