PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label attaching device in which label does not move even if an adsorption pad, which adsorbs and holds the label, is rotated at high-speed to change the attaching direction of the label.SOLUTION: A label attaching device (1) includes: label issuing means (2); an adsorption pad (10) configured to adsorb and hold the issued label L; and an adsorption pad moving mechanism (30) configured to reciprocate the adsorption pad (10) in a predetermined direction between a label adsorbing position and a label attaching position and to rotate about a rotation axis parallel to a predetermined direction to attach the label L to an article; where the adsorption pad (10) includes a base end (11) connected to a negative pressure supply source, an adsorption surface (14) configured to hold the label L, and a suction hole (15) configured to communicate the base end (11) and the adsorption surface (14); and the adsorption surface (14) includes a recess (16) that communicates with the suction hole (15) and that has a larger area than the suction hole (15) in plan view. |
