Combine harvester and harvesting method

The combine harvester (1) has a chopping unit for stock flow to be chopped and a dispensing unit (38) downstream the chopping unit for dispensing the stock flow. The dispensing unit has a rotational body which is structured in such a way that a Magnus effect is produced during the rotation of the rotational body. The Magnus effect affects a lateral deflection of a part of the stock flow. An independent claim is included for a method for harvesting seed with a combine harvester.
