PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer where improvement of safety with respect to a touch to a high temperature portion of a radiator by a user is achieved.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a housing 10 having an opening portion 10a; a carriage 31 provided in a movable manner in a predetermined direction inside the housing; a heating section 65 provided inside the housing so as to have a position from the opening portion closer to a depth side than the carriage; and a detection section detecting a temperature of the heating section. When a detection temperature of the detection section exceeds a predetermined value, the carriage is stopped at a position where at least a part of the heating section is covered with the carriage as viewed from an opening portion side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
