PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide indium hydroxide powder efficiently by suppressing generation of dendrite in producing indium hydroxide by electrolysis.SOLUTION: A method of producing indium hydroxide powder by an electrolytic reaction using metallic indium as an anode and an aqueous solution of ammonium nitrate as an electrolytic solution comprises executing electrolysis by controlling the concentration of the electrolytic solution in the range of 0.1-2.0 mol/L, an electric current density within the range of 18-36 (A/dm) and a ratio (A/dm)/(mol/L) of the electric current density to the concentration of the electrolytic solution in the range of 24 or lower. |
