PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it difficult to fail in transfer of data with relatively high priority.SOLUTION: A communication system includes a first transfer device, a second transfer device connected with the first transfer device via a first or second path, a first communication device on the first path, and a second communication device on the second path. The first communication device determines the priority and traffic rate of each piece of data by associating it with the destination address of each piece of data transferred from the first transfer device to the second transfer device. The first communication device selects a transfer path in the order of data with relatively higher priority so that the difference of total values of the traffic rates between paths will be small and the total value of each path will be equal to or less than a prescribed value. The first communication device transfers data the transfer path of which is the first path to the second transfer device, and notifies the second communication device of the destination address of data the transfer path of which is the second path. The second communication device transfers data destined to the announced address to the second transfer device. |
