PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of reducing the liquid back to a compressor, by eliminating a shortage of evaporation capacity in an outdoor heat exchanger for functioning as an evaporator.SOLUTION: In this air conditioner 1, when executing first starting control for making one outdoor heat exchanger function as a condenser and making the another outdoor heat exchanger function as the evaporator in the two outdoor heat exchangers, the outdoor heat exchangers 24a and 24b arranged at an upper part of an outdoor unit casing, which is near outdoor fans 26a and 26b, are made to function as the evaporator. Since an outside air quantity of passing through the outdoor heat exchangers near the outdoor fans is more than an outside air quantity of passing through the outdoor heat exchangers 25a and 25b arranged at the lower part of the outdoor unit casing, the shortage of evaporation capacity in the outdoor heat exchangers positioned near the outdoor fans is eliminated, and a liquid back quantity to the compressor can be reduced. |
