<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light control sheet capable of emitting a video having satisfactory quality by suppressing color irregularity in a screen, and to provide a liquid crystal display device provided with the light control sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The light control sheet 10 is disposed between a light source 2 and a liquid crystal panel 20 of the liquid crystal display device and has a plurality of layers wherein at least one layer among the plurality of layers is an optical functional sheet layer 11 which has prisms 12, which are arranged side by side along a sheet surface light-transmissibly and have a trapezoidal cross-section shape and light absorption parts 13, formed by filling a material having a light-absorptive property between the prisms, at least one layer among the plurality of layers is made to be a transmissive base film layer 16 to be laminated on the surface of the optical functional sheet layer of a long lower bottom side of the prism having the trapezoidal cross-section shape, and the base film layer has the retardation Re of 15 nm or lower. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
