PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling clothing insect pest exhibiting a high insect pest prevention effect to clothing insect pest, using an aerosol agent provided with a constant amount spraying function, by subjecting the constant amount thereof to spraying treatment to a storage space of clothing, and further capable of clearly recognizing the using period thereof.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for controlling clothing insect pest in which a constant amount (in the range of 0.2 to 1.0 mL) of an aerosol composition that is composed of an aerosol raw liquid comprising a pyrethroid-based insect pest preventive component and an aromatic component with a boiling point of 200°C or higher and a liquid gas is subjected to spraying treatment to the storage space of clothing through an aerosol valve provided with a constant amount spraying function. The spraying force in a spraying distance of 20 cm is controlled to 3 to 15 gf/25°C, and also, the average particle diameter of the spraying particles is controlled to 5 to 30 μm. |
