The device (1) has a heating unit (4) for heating plastic preforms (10) and transport units (12,14,16,18) for transporting the plastic preforms along a predetermined transport path. A forming unit is arranged downstream the heating unit along the transport path for transforming the plastic preforms into plastic containers. A sterilization unit (30) is provided which applies fluid medium on a wall of the plastic preforms to sterilize the wall. The sterilization unit is arranged in the transport path of the container. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing plastic containers. |
