Date Oct. 17, 1991.A tray is provided having, at the bottom thereof, a cassette pop-up assembly which enables a cassette to be easily removed from a cassette playing/recording device. The cassette pop-up assembly is made operative, in association with the projected movement of the tray from a cabinet, to push upward that end of the cassette which is first projected from the front of the cabinet so as to keep the cassette tilted on the tray, thereby making it easier for the operator to pick up the cassette from the tray.
