PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply cartridge that includes a supply opening becoming an open state at the completion of attachment irrespective of the open or closed state of the supply opening.SOLUTION: A developer supply cartridge comprises: an accommodation unit 40 for developer; a shutter unit 49 that is movable between a closing position to close a supply opening 43 of the accommodation unit 40 and an opening position to open the supply opening 43; a first moving unit 52 that is movable between a first position to locate the shutter unit 49 at the closing position and a second position to locate the opening position, is engaged with an engaging part fixed to an apparatus body to move in association with the movement of a developer supply cartridge while the developer supply cartridge is moved to an attachment position in the apparatus body, and starts moving after being engaged with the engaging part at the first position to be located at a second position when the developer supply cartridge reaches the attachment position; and a second moving unit 55 that moves the first moving unit 52 to the first position by the time of being engaged with the engaging part when the first moving unit 52 is at a position other than the first position before being engaged with the engaging part. |
