CORDLESS HAND-HELD ULTRASONIC CAUTERY CUTTING DEVICE An ultrasonic surgical assembly, comprising: a surgical handle (2300) including a first handle body portion defining an aseptically sealable battery-holding compartment and a second handle body portion connected to the first handle body portion; a waveguide (2504) supported by and extending distally from the second handle body portion; a cordless ultrasonic generator (2404) supported by the second handle body portion, the cordless ultrasonic generator including a driving-wave generation circuit; a cordless ultrasonic transducer (2406) supported by the second handle body portion, the cordless ultrasonic transducer (2406) coupled to the driving wave generation circuit and having an output couple connected to the waveguide (2504), the cordless ultrasonic transducer (2406) configured to dynamically produce a resonant wave along the waveguide (2504); and a battery (3902), wherein the first handle body portion is configured to removably hold the battery within the aseptically sealable battery-holding compartment, and wherein the surgical handle is configured to electrically connect the battery with the cordless ultrasonic generator when the battery is disposed within the battery-holding compartment.
