The method comprises area-wisely pigmenting the polymer plastic substrates (10) or area-wisely applying a polymer pigment-containing layer (11) on the polymer plastic substrates in pigmented areas with pigment arms and polymer primer-sealer (13) whose pigment portion is less than 25 wt.% and with a functional coating (15) applied on the primer-sealer, where the primer-sealer is provided, so that it adheres on the pigmented area on one side and the functional coating adheres on it on other side. The primer-sealer has same adhesive properties for functional coating like the substrate polymer. The method comprises area-wisely pigmenting the polymer plastic substrates (10) or area-wisely applying a polymer pigment-containing layer (11) on the polymer plastic substrates in the pigmented areas with pigment arms and polymer primer-sealer (13) whose pigment portion is less than 25 wt.% and with a functional coating (15) applied on the primer-sealer, where the primer-sealer is provided, so that it adheres on the pigmented area on one side and the functional coating adheres on it on the other side. The primer-sealer has same adhesive properties for the functional coating like the substrate polymer. The primer-sealer contains polymer portion of more than 50% coinciding with the substrate polymer and/or the pigmented layer. The pigment-containing layer is a lacquer coating. The pigment (12) contained in the pigmented area of the plastic substrate are colored inorganic filler material. The pigment-containing layer contains a predominant portion of polymer with same properties like the substrate polymer. The primer-sealer has a thickness of 250 mu m, contains a pigment portion of highly 10% related to the final preparation, and is thermally moldable.
