PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive fuel feed pipe providing rust-proofing properties required for the periphery of a fuel supply port and being capable of preventing rusting and corrosion and a method producing the fuel feed pipe.SOLUTION: An oil feed pipe body 2 is formed by pipe-expanding one end of a steel pipe having a first plated layer 6 on the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface. A retainer 3 is press-fitted to the pipe-expanded part 20a of the oil feed pipe body 2 from the opening side. The overlapped part between the pipe-expanded part 20a and the retainer 3 is spot-welded (SW). A female screw part 2b is formed on the side of one end of the pipe-expanded part 20a. After one end side of the oil feed pipe body 2 and the retainer 3 are subjected to an acid cleaning treatment, acid-cleaned parts are treated by electroless chromium plating to form a second plated layer 7. |
