PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grater which is easy to clean and safe and can complete, with a single grating operation, grating of a food ingredient and dropping of the grated food ingredient to a container, improving efficiency of the grating operation.SOLUTION: A grater 1 comprises a grating face 10 on which a food ingredient is slid and a plurality of blade parts 20 formed in the grating face 10. Each of the blade parts 20 includes an open hole 21 and a dome part 22 that is shaped to protrude from the grating face 10 with gradual increase of the width until reaching an edge of the open hole 21. The dome part 22 is formed such that the direction connecting a foot part of the protrusion to a central part of the open hole makes an angle of 0-45° to the direction perpendicular to the slide direction. |
